New Hairstyle

Trying out a new hairstyle. My fro had grown too long, but figured it was a good opportunity to try something new. Not sure how I feel about it... it's distinctly European-ish, and certainly makes me look like I'm playing for the other team. And it's harder to hide the fact that I'm thinning up there :D

I suggest you grow your hair out again, and use the money you save to buy a better camera.

I want to see what it would look like pushed forward, or spiked up a bit. :)

Chad: I have a better camera, but didn't feel like setting the timer, uploading the pics, etc, so I just took it with my webcam that I *never* use.

h: I've learned that with wax, I can change my hairstyle on the fly, so halfway through the day, it's spikey :)

I think this is a much hipper, much younger hairdo, and looks nice. I bet it looks cool spiky.

And actually, shorter hair is MUCH more flattering on a thinning hairline, if you are worried about that, but I didn't notice any thinness. But maybe that's because I saw it before the haircut.

In general, men who worry about male pattern thinness are recommended to make sure the sides stay relatively short, or the top will look even thinner in comparison. Just don't ever fall into the "manager hair" rut. :D

Hm. Need to learn how to use this damn hair wax. I'm used to gel and stuff, but this is my first time using wax, and I don't think I did it right. My hair doesn't have the same maleability that it did yesterday.

Ah well.

I used to use "Bedhead" wax when I had pretty short hair, and the key was to use very little.

Yup, a tiny amount is the key. Too much and you just weigh your hair down.
